New 'flash object' element

Flash Objects

There is a new 'Flash Object' element available which allows Cumbria Business Portal customers to quickly add Flash files (.swf) to their web pages.
 
Please note that if you make any textual information available by Flash it would also be a good idea to make the same information available as text. This is because the text inside Flash files does not get spidered by search engines and it cannot be read by screen readers which are used by the disabled so to conform to the Disability Discrimination Act you will have to provide a text alternative to all flash files.
