Royal Mail brings in new postal charging structure

Big changes to the postal charging structure come into force on 21st August 2006. Royal mail has been sending out information describing the new charges. Traditionally the cost for sending an item through the post has been based on the weight of the item, but from 21st of August the cost consideration will be based both on size and weight.

According to the Royal Mail they expect 80% of post will either remain the same price or be cheaper to send.

You can find out more about the new postal charges by visiting the Post Office website. Clicking on this link will open a new page.
