Links to eCommerce

In Cumbria Business Portal's site editor software - We now have a number of ways you can link to the eCommerce shop. The existing methods were Heading, Paragraph, Sub - Heading, Link Text and Instant.

We have now added the ability to link to individual products to create a featured product which will display in horizontal or vertical format (vertical format is useful for navigation or news columns)

When you are linking to eCommerce on some of the links there will be an option called SSL Link, to make the link Google friendly chose the option "NO" for SSL Link.

The reason for this is that Google cannot follow the secure links (SSL) hence this option to make a link none SSL.

Instant Links
This is the main way to link to your shop and one will be here on your 'online shop' page. To edit the link for the new 'SE Friendly link type' follow thes instructions and use the settings as shown in the images below.

If you get stuck, or need some help, give us a quick call, it's very easy to do and will take less than a minute.

So click the edit button for the link, example link shown below.

Then change the settings for the link to those shown in the next image on the page.
