Constituents: essential oils, hypericins, flavenoids, nitrin
 
Actions: alterative, astringent, antiviral, relaxing nervine, antidepressant, sedative, anti-inflammatory, cardio-tonic. Topically - mild analgesic, antiseptic. (Thomas Bartram)

Used for: neuralgia, anxiety, tension, menopausal changes triggering irritability and anxiety, fibrositis, sciatica, rheumatic pain.
