The difference is in the way we make it.

Processing of the plants is done on site where they are made into oils and tinctures immediately after being picked, so that nothing is lost. This is done in such a way as to preserve the whole of the life force resulting in a product which is still biologically active. Potency of a remedy comes from a whole biodynamic plant extract which gives an enormous sense of wellbeing.

Organic ensures that the plants are free of any traces of herbicides, fungicides or synthetic fertilizers. Biodynamic ensures maximum plant content, minerals, vitamins, resins and volatile oils. These plants are collected on flower and fruit days, according to the moon calendar, picking the plants that are just rising to their maximum fluorescence. Our hands-on horticulture ensures individual attention to the plants

hand tending the herbs

Our range of tinctures is made to the British Herbal Pharmacopoeia formulas.

The water we use is from a spring at the base of a large mass of limestone rock and is saturated with minerals, having healing powers of its own.

The hand tools we use are made from copper/bronze with oiled wooden handles. This gives a wonderful feel as you stroke the earth, hoeing around the beds and cultivating the soil.

This action does not disrupt the magnetic field around the plants which would attract slugs, but instead puts in minute traces of copper, which affect ionisation and increase nutrient uptake. All this extreme care and attention to detail helps us to make the best biodynamic, organic, medicinal herb product possible for our customers.
