INTRODUCTION TO FORTH ENGINEERING

Since its foundation Forth Engineering (Cumbria) Ltd has gone from strength to strength, with extraordinary year on year growth.
 
In November 2000, Forth Engineering (Cumbria) Ltd began with a simple idea, supplying hoses made to the customer's specifications, with supply only or fitting onsite. The idea soon developed into products ranging from valves to high pressure connectors from a single source and to provide the technical help needed to solve customers' interface problems. The motto: "If you don't see it, ask for it."
 
In 2003 the business relocated to a fully equipped operations centre at Risehow Hydraulics Centre on the outskirts of Maryport. The premises, which have increased total capacity by over 100 per cent, house a dedicated warehousing and despatch area, customer demonstration and training facilities, administrative offices and an advanced technical centre, all catering for the highly skilled staff involved.
 
Forth Engineering has dedicated Account Management, Operations Management and Project Delivery teams. This approach allows focused local delivery and accountability. It also allows Forth Engineering to deliver major contracts with great confidence.
 
The business has enjoyed a successful last four years, with revenues exceeding expectation. By working together and working within the existing Forth Engineering account base; the company has managed to grow substantially, adding more operational, management and technical resource. The outlook for Forth Engineering (Cumbria) Ltd in 2007 is excellent. The business will definitely increase it's commitment to it's customers by adding more exclusive distribution deals, like the one's it presently holds with Camozzi Pneumatics Ltd Guyson International and Nike Power Equipment and adding more technically skilled personnel to cater for customer demand.
 
For 2007 Forth Engineering's Project Team have now developed a pioneering Maintenance and Monitoring System to allow its customers the peace of mind that their pressured hoses are safe and legal according to BS5244. The system also records all hoses manufactured using a specially developed Barcode System making every hose unique and fully traceable.

Nuclear Opportunites News

Forth Engineering (Cumbria) Limited was recently featured in the July edition of the Nuclear Opportunites magazine as a result of its innovative maintenance system. This refers to our new hose maintenance programme which uses barcoded labels to monitor hoses.
