Adding Content to your pages

Editing page, using insert and copy area buttons

As the Page Editor screen gives only an impression of the appearance of the completed page, it is very important to preview it fully to make sure it appears how you expect before you decide that it is finished.

At any point in the editing process you can click the "Preview" button at the top and bottom of the Page Editor screen to see an accurate view of what the final page will look like. Remember that any links within the preview page are disabled but that they will be fully functional on your completed page. To return to the Page Editor click on the Edit Content button at the bottom of the preview screen.

On selection of the "insert" button you will be directed to the "edit item" page and given a choice of these different elements:

Insert Elements drop down menu

Select which type of element you want to add to your page (e.g. formatted text), and click on the "Add Item" button.

For more information about each type of element, please see the
"Elements" section - or just experiment to see what is available!
