Page Listing Screen

Understanding the Page Listing Screen

The Page Listing Screen acts as the summary screen for the contents of your web site. From here you can delete pages, create new pages, select existing pages for editing and organise images you wish to display.
 
The main section of this screen is a list of all the pages that currently exist in your site. If there are existing pages they will be listed alphabetically.
 
If there are no pages listed, this is because you haven't created any yet.
 
Most sites begin with the default pages of Home, About, Products, Contact Us and Cumbria Links.

The following options will be available at the top of the list:

Next to each page listed you will see the following icons:

red bin (trash can) - delete a page button

This button allows you to delete a page. You will be asked to confirm the action before it is carried out.
 
Note that once it has been deleted, a page cannot be retrieved.

blue pages - Copy a page button

Allows you to copy an exact replica of the page you wish to copy.

gold spanner - edit page settings button

This button allows you to edit page settings. Use this to set a page's title, summary information, and navigation details.

green pencil - edit page button

This button allows you to edit page contents. Clicking it will take you to the page editing screen for that page.

This button allows you to delete a page. You will be asked to confirm the action before it is carried out.
 
Note that once it has been deleted, a page cannot be retrieved.
