Website Design Processes

Our Team are web Development Professionals with many years experience so we can take the stress out of design and development processes for our clients, leaving them with a pleasureable experience that they have contributed to rather than having been given a website that any old designer thinks they should have. In short we help you all the way to achieve your Internet Objectives and give you support thereafter.

Content Management System

One of our Key Policies from the very beginning was to empower our clients with the ability to have control over their website. To that end we use a very dynamic and intuitive Content Management System so that you can alter your pages when ever you want.

  • No need to know anything about Page coding, simply type what you want and it will appear on the Internet live the moment you store the changes.
  • No need to wait for your web designer to get round to updating your pages, with our system you can do that yourself
  • Easy to use online shopping facility
  • Our system updates with Google every night when you have made a change to a page, so you are always keeping the search engine up to speed with your website

Customised Designs

Affordability

We make the design process stress free and simple

Most people want to have their own template design rather than take a standard design from a template package. The template is what holds your website pages together and how it makes them look to the visitor.

The template has to take the place of the Letterhead, compliment slip, brochure, flyer, newsletter and more, so it's important that you have it looking just the way you want it. Providing of course what you want it to look like meets the all important legislation which applies to websites.

So what do we ask our clients when they come to us for designs and hosting?

We have to get to know your business pretty quickly!

  • What it is you do in your business,
  • How you do it, and how the competition does it!
  • What they want to achieve, what their objectives are
  • What elements of web design can help them achieve their objectives
  • What it should look like
  • What domain name should you use? How many email boxes will you need?
  • How will the visitor find their way around the website (navigation)
  • What type of images/photo's will be used and how
  • Do you need a brand creating?
  • Will the website provide a "livery" for branding the business?
  • Does the business already have a brand to attach to the website?
  • How will the website be marketed? (Linking, Optimisation, Positioning)
  • How should search engines and directories be used to best effect
  • How much training will the client or their employees need?
  • How best to present products and services
  • How the on line catalogue should look and feel to the visitor
  • How to make it easy for the visitor to buy your products
  • How to get the visitor to contact you if you are offering services not products
  • How will your visitors pay for your goods
  • Security and privacy
  • Making sure you comply with all the necessary legislation

Don't spoil the ship for a ha'peth of Tar!

If it is important to your business to have a good performing and well designed website then don't spoil it by only doing half the job because of costs. Getting it right first time can give you an early return on capital spent.

It can be such a simple question to ask - "How much will a website cost me?" but like most things the answer depends on what you want it to do.

To have a website buit to your own specifications can cost anything from a few hundred pounds to many thousands of pounds. That's why we discuss with you your objectives for the website, what you want it to look like and many other factors. We usually have a considerable amount of input to our clients ideas drawn from our many years experience and this all helps to create the kind of website that will work for you!

To help our clients understand the various components of website design and development we provide comprehensive quotes which explain how the site will be built and the cost of these elements.

You don't have to pay hundreds of thousands of pounds to have an effective and profitable website. But you will have to have a reasonable budget if you want to make the website work for you. The average site could cost anywhere between £1,500 and £3,500 plus VAT (guide price only) depending on what you want it to do and what you want to achieve.

Finance is available subject to status - we can offer fixed prices for work or undertake hourly rates.

First we work out just how much your website design and marketing will cost and then if you want to take a finance package to fund the project we will pass you on to one of our trusted network of financial advisors who could be banks or brokers, usually a broker who we trust because we have experience of their quality of work.

We don't arrange finance ourselves or give financial advice.

Optional Extras to make your website work better for you!
